Any citizen who is 18 or more years of age who is a resident of Racine County and interested in the stated purpose of this organization shall be eligible for membership subject to the approval of the Board of Directors in their absolute discretion.
Section 3.02. Application.
Application for membership shall be made by an application blank provided by the Corporation, which shall have printed upon it the purpose as stated in Article
2. The application shall be accompanied by the annual dues and shall be mailed or tendered in person to the Membership Officer.
Article 4 Termination of Membership
Section 4.01. Nonpayment of dues.
Membership may be terminated for nonpayment of dues.
Section 4.02. Written Resignation.
Membership may be voluntarily terminated by delivering a written resignation to the President or Secretary.
Section 4.03. Resolution Approved by the Board of Directors.
Membership may be terminated by a resolution approved by two-thirds majority of the Board of Directors for conduct considered prejudicial to the purposes of the Corporation. The charges against said member shall be delivered to the member in writing and the affected member shall have a full and fair opportunity to answer any charges by the Board of Directors. The affected member shall be entitled to a prorated return of any annual dues paid for the current fiscal year after deducting any moneys owing the Corporation.
Article 5 Dues
Section 5.01. Amount.
The membership dues shall be set by the Board of Directors.
Section 5.02. When Paid.
The dues shall be payable by each member on or before January 1st for the following fiscal year. When dues are paid, upon request, the member shall be given a copy of the By Laws.
Section 5.03. Reduction.
No reduction in dues shall be made for new memberships encompassing only part of a fiscal year unless approved by the Board of Directors.
Section 5.04. Assessments.
There shall be no assessments over and above the annual dues.
